I’ve always joked about wishing I could vacuum my dogs and now I can! And it’s as glorious as I thought it would be. We have two Collies and one of them loves to loose his entire undercoat as soon as the snow falls. Today I used the vacuum and was able to get so much fur off him it looked like I had made a small dog magically appear by the time I was done. Best part was it all went from dog, to vacuum, to the garbage. I no longer need to have the huge pile on my floor spreading fur joy everywhere.
Our other collie looks like a frazzled thing every few weeks. But not anymore! I now can easily trim her frazzliness and she looks beautiful all the time! When I first got the vacuum I had waited to brush her. She was looking rough and by the time I was done, she looked amazing. The vacuum surpassed my expectations.
Both dogs dislike the vacuum, but they dislike it equal to how much they disliked the brush. So that’s a win for me as they tolerate it even though they don’t like it. Our girl seems to like it better than our boy. But they both let me brush with the vacuum until my heart is content. The noise level is not too loud and it doesn’t seem to bother the dogs.
The canister holds a good amount of fur. When de-shedding our 70lb boy this morning, I was able to use it on half of him before I had to dump it. That’s a huge plus for me.

The Uproot Pet Grooming kit is Stellar!!
I bought the pet grooming kit in July 2023 and used on my short hair pup who loved it. A few months ago my Pyr had gotten into sticky plumbago flowers & she hates being brushed - I end chasing her all over the house. Then I saw the grooming kit on the table and decided to try it on her. At first she said No Way, but I set the vacuum up 1/2 way and started brushing with the grooming brush - she got a big smile on her face and sat still - Amazing is an understatement - Thank You, Thank You, Thank You!☺️

'TEDDY & MATTY
So far, I'm loving it. Much less of a mess. I had to do one of my guys, Matty, with the old clippers because his hair had gotten way too long and clogged the vacuum. But Teddy's went great and he didn't seem to mind the change of devices. I may need to do a 2nd grooming as I wasn't used to handling the clipper, but so far, it's good. Practice makes perfect.
I also want to thank the gals that worked on my order. UPS was giving me a lot of trouble with my address but in the end we worked it out.

Great for pets AND humans!!!
So far we’ve shaved my husband’s head, part of my head and 90% of a Boonedogle! He is an 85 lbs. labradoodle that sheds more than any other dog I’ve had. We have tried many times in the past with traditional clippers and he absolutely hates it. He is so difficult to handle given his size so we usually only get him partially done. We used the Upoot on him today and he was an entirely different dog. He was leery of it but not afraid of it. We were able to get him up on one of our tables and he sat. He still has a few sensitive areas, but he looks 100% better than he had, and he probably feels a lot cooler too!

It's a lifesaver!
Our English Bulldog sheds an almost unnatural amount of fur on a consistent basis. Even if I had just vacuumed, in the right light you could actually see her actively shedding all over the clean floors. I was hesitant to try this at first, since she is afraid of the vacuum and is wary of anything "new", but since she does like being brushed I gave it a try. The unit is quieter than expected and works extremely well to collect the loose fur. I started by just brushing her with the attachment on the hose with the unit off, then slowly increased the suction while brushing her. I can tell that she is still a little unsure of the unit, but she allows me to "vacuum" her without a whole lot of fuss and hasn't attacked the hose or unit like she has the vacuum. The deshedding brush is phenomenal at loosening all the fur in her coat and the other brush is great for daily use. I was blown away then the first time I brushed her with this (deshedding and basic brush), her fur filled up half the cup. The photo is the SECOND time I brushed her, a day later. I notice a LOT less fur on my floors since using this!
