I’ve been using these sheets the way I usually use dryer sheets: with wet, just washed laundry. And they’re fine. Today I finally had a chance to try what is described on the package: to first tumble the hairy items Dry, *before* washing- and then wash as usual, and dry with another sheet. The load consisted of a velour bathrobe, two fleece coats, a pair of knitted polyester trousers, and a cotton sweatshirt. Velour and fleece: wowzers!!! Holy cat hair, Batman, it really worked!! They came out of the dryer with nary a hair on them. Polyester pants… mmm, much better, absolutely, but not hair free (did I mention the pants are black? And both cats have a lot of white? Yeah… 😂). But the cotton sweatshirt- wow, in a bad way. It was almost as hairy as it started. :(. Le Sigh! I’m sorry, I can never remember to take “before” photos, so I can’t show the amazing difference on the fleece and velour (but believe me, they were baaaad), nor can I demonstrate the disappointingly small difference on the sweatshirt. I have only an “after” of the sweat shirt… you’ll just have to trust me that it’s not much different from when I started the process.
Bottom line: this product is good, but not a miracle worker. (Hmmm! Maybe this is a job for the micro-brush-cleaner gizmo!)
